“Too much difference in luck for the Champions to avoid a bitter defeat.
The dark elves knocked out woodies easily. Our dirty player was knocked out in the first turn and never returned, which meant their dirty player was free to act at will, which he did, killing one Wardancer.
Dark-Blood stalled the entire first-half despite good chances to recover the ball (good before rolling the dice, that is) and our attempt to score a one-turner came to nothing because the Tree couldn't roll an arrow with 3 dice.
We scored easily in the second half, despite suffering a second pitch invasion. Then the Dark Elves began their slow drive, and Barat managed to intercept the thrower's pass. He then ran upfield to pass the ball to a lonely linelf. But then disaster struck in the form of snake eyes, handing the game to the dark elves in a plate (although their Witch Elf scored the winning TD by dodging a diving tackler in the last turn, heh).
Anyway, ibar played quite well and our TR will drop a bit, so perhaps people will play us. :)”
