“It all started well enough...the team managed to take advantage of a failed block to score on defence. Then the casualties started to mount up...by the end of the 1st half, the team was rather outnumbered, and the dice started to turn against them too...
In the end, I managed to rob his thrower 2 squares from the endzone, and loft it up the pitch to a waiting blitzer. He somehow managed to survive the blitz, but with 5 players marking him, he needed to do some fancy dodging. Of course, he fell flat on his face, but the ball went out of play, and the enthusiastic (not to mention quite blocked) Reapers fans helpfully lobbed the ball well into the Orc backfield late in the 2nd half. The Orcs, with no rerolls left and their throwers in the other half of the pitch, couldn't complete a game-winning pass. At the end of the game, only 3 Reapers players were left, including Meatwall the Ogre, who spent the whole game getting his face slammed into the pitch. Managing a draw whilst getting the a beating like that was a noble effort by the team.”
