“Well, the dice say I outlucked here, but I'd have to be honest and say I got the rough end of the stick (which smelt like it was dipped in one of the Werewolves...well, you know) at least in the 1st half. Anyway, that seemed to be the case going into half time 1-0 down after a fine drive by the undead, though both coaches seemed to have a "devil may care, but i don't see why we should!" attitude, throwing blocks with wild abandon!

It wasn't until the 2nd half until I started making headway into the undead, though regen popped up every time to ensure they have a full roster next game, after my dead zombie simply swapping sides in the first half :S

With KO's piling up in the undead box, and cas regenning to sit on the bench, thinning out the undead numbers I scented a chance... a chance both to score AND use superior speed to somehow pull off a win.

However, the dogged (ironic given the nature of the opponent) determination of the undead wouldn't let them lie down, and they battled tooth and claw for every inch, dodging to tie up my players, battling hard to drag them down. It was a fine match, and I'm glad to say I came out for the first time in four games that:

a) I wasn't completely outdiced - I'd say the luck was more or less even (still grumbling about the failed Quick pass that woulda seen me score early, mind :( )

b) I gave as good - heck, better, than I got in the cas stakes. After my Dwarves were butchered by one sided dice all game in my last outing but one, I was losing faith somewhat (7 cas and more from fouls on top).

c) Result was a fair one. Fishgeekted is both a decent coach and a gentleman to play - no foulin, no whinin, fair and a pleasure to play against, whatever the result - cheers for that.

So I can go to bed in the knowledge my Necro live to ... ur... die, to fight another day. No wait... exist... to fight on.. or maybe, maybe they shamble on to... or perhaps.. rumble.. stagger... survive... no that implies being alive. Maybe they...
