“This was always going to be a Bash Fest between a rookie CDwarf and rookie Norse - but I must say my Hobgoblins were feeling a tad nervous, going in without an APO.

A Bad Kick handed a TD to one of the Bulls, whilst a miracle Long Bomb from "Bushy" to "4 Right Hooves" in the dieing seconds of the first half gave a 2-1 lead going into half time.

Where as the Dwarves had trouble forcing a hole thru the wall of norse being thrown upon them, the hobgobs actually came up with the remarkable game breaking plan - effecting 1 CAS and 3 Crowd Surfs between them. It was not until the second half that the Dwarves managed to get thru the Deceptively heavily armour of the Norse, inflicting 2 BHs and a RIP in the opening seconds of the second half.

Despite tenacious and dareing defence, the Dwarves managed to run out 3-1 winners, for the first of what I hope of many wins for this third attempt at a successful CDwarf team.
