Looks pretty bleak...until the cas start pouring in. Not trickling, pouring. Twin niggles in one turn, and only one apo. Then a dead RO to finish the first half, a dead star linerat early 2nd half, many BH, and pretty soon we find ourselves outnumbering the rats something fierce. Easy to score when you have 5 more guys than the other team standing...steal the ball, score again, even fewer rats now, but he has a deep bench and can keep fielding guys. Perfect defense with a 2-2 tie score and two turns left, we might pull it off, and indeed probably should've, but a moment's inattention had me blitz his gutter with my witch...to find it's his str4 gutter, not a str2 one. He doesn't move, very nearly scores to steal the victory.

Was I cheated? Only by my own stupidity at the end...throughout the game both sides had massive stupidity issues, making poor decisions, getting hosed by the dice...one of the ugliest, and downright funnest, games I've played in a long while! (Granted, I wasn't the one being clobbered this time, but I have plenty of experience to know how he must've felt...)”
