Note the large difference in TR is due to cash. Subtract my 610K and his 30K and my TR is only 11 higher LOL.
---------
The Juggernauts started in offence but were suprised to see the Nazghulians use their entire match allocation of magic sponges to bring in their star Witch Elf Harezelth into the game. Harezelth (Str 4, Block, Leap, Pass Block and Nerves of Steel) had pulled up sore before the match (3 niggles) and was not expected to play. A very risky move by the Nazghulians considering they were up against a strong hitting team.

The kickoff saw the Nazghulians pull a quick switching defence (Perfect Defence) but the Juggernauts adapted, knocking out one player early as they brought the ball slowly forward.

The Juggernauts kept the ball well shielded whilst Harezelth circled, ready to blitz the ball carrier at the slightest hint of an opening...

The Juggernauts cautiously advanced the ball upfield, and when they finally managed to flatten Harezelth with a block, quickly surrounded her and knocked her out with a foul!

This disconcerted the Nazghulians who decided to preserve their hides and run down the other end of the pitch! The Juggernauts were not sure that they could stop the Nazghulians from scoring a first half reply so delayed scoring whilst they tried to thin the Dark Elf numbers.

The second half saw the Nazghulians line up with only 4 players in offence! The Dark Elves were un-nerved by the aggressive play of the Juggernauts in the first half and decided to keep their most valuable players on the bench.

The Juggernauts were able to use their superior numbers to quickly win the ball and score a 2nd TD to take a 2-0 lead.

The Juggernauts then set up a bizarre defensive set with all their players on the right hand side of the pitch! It turned out the Juggernauts were hoping to entice the Nazghulians into a quick score so they could score a third TD themselves without having to waste the rest of the game chasing down the annoyingly fast Dark Elves!

However, the Juggernauts broke quickly from the line (blitz) and with great field position, managed to secure the ball and score a third TD anyway.

I was rather surprised that my opponent used his apoth to bring in his star player. Sure she was a match winner, but that would mean another player could buy a nasty injury...

My opponent didn't have much luck today, failing quite a few GFIs and dodge rolls (including some rerolled 2+s that failed) and also some passes and catches.

Whereas I didn't really have too much bad luck (I did reroll a double push block to double skulls hehehe and some other minor stuff) but nothing that hurt too badly.

Anyway, no permanent harm to his team and he got both cash and FF and I got SPP hehehe.
