#10 Schmuck – Dead (RIP)
“The luck ratios look pretty bad here, but Gorrita got shorted. The game opened up with me kicking and a blitz, from which I managed to take possession and score.
The next drive, he had a nice pack on the sidelines and his catcher had the choice of going the 9 spaces for a TD with a GFI or waiting one more turn and probably allowing me to swarm his position. He went for it and tripped on the goal line. The ball scattered out of bounds and was thrown in within reach of my thrower, leading to a score.
The opening drive of the 2nd half, I turned over the ball and he recovered, but left his catcher a little bit exposed. With three 2+ dodges, I managed to blitz him, recover the ball, and move it downfield to the LW. A lucky play, to say the least.
My bad luck was pretty well consolidated on the things that didn't matter. I rolled pretty well on all my passes and catches and I never failed to pick up the ball once(!!!).
Thanks for the game, Gorrita. You certainly played well, but sadly Fortune didn't hold up Her end. Anytime your Ogre spends 5 consecutive turns picking his nose, there's just not much you can do.”
