What can I say. A bit of tiredness/oversight and a lot of bad luck cost me this game.

I started the game with a spot open on my roster, forgetting to hire a new Blitzer.

Then the handicaps - Virus and It Wasn't Me and some others I can't recall left me with 10 players to start the match. That Blitzer might have made the difference.

Anyways, I start with the ball and have a horror first turn. My blocks get me nothing (maybe one pow) and I get two players downfield, but one fails his GFI an falls.

Makes it easy for my opponent to blitz the standing guy and then foul. I

Anyways, the first half was a farce, I lost another player I think and kept rolling bad and missed my chance to score. I fail my apothecary roll as well of course. I am moaning, but the luck meter was 40 to 72 three turns into the second half.

Anyways, I fail my KO rolls of course and start with 6 players in defence. 6!!!

I manage to apply the pressure and steal the ball a few times, once helped by my fireball and had 3-4 chances to score (at least one chance was just a set of 2+s), even win the match but none came off.

Into overtime. Fail my KOs and start with two players in offence. 2!!!

I have a litle bit of luck as I survive the blitz attack and manage to run the ball deep but I get stunned by the lightning bolt and it is game over.

Petter played a good game, but he had an extreme amount of assistance from the dice. Despite the cruddy luck, I controlled the ball for most of regular time or threatened to score repeatedly but the dice were just too weighted in the end.

I actually felt good at the end of the game because I believed I played better for most of the match and was denied by the dice. No disrespect to Petter, but I put myself in a winning position for most of the game despite the crap dice.

Anyways, I wish Petter good luck in the rest of the tourney.”
