“It started off so well with a Blitz in the favour of the Discworld Dead, but from there on it went down hill. Despite making about 2-4 dodge attempts a turn, the Enwor Survivors only failed one dodge attempt the whole match, an increadible feat even taking into account their doging nature. In the second drive, the Tooth Fairy was a star. Not only was he able to deliver the Ball to Schleppel, but was able to catch up with him again when he got in trouble and helped him score the Touchdown. In the final drive Death let the team down at a crucial point when he got knocked down when making an assisted attack on one of the linewomen to free up 2 other players (he rolled double skulls, which is kind of fitting). This gave the Enwor Survivors enough time to get the ball deep into the Dead's half and set up a defensive structure around their ball carrier. Despite a great attempt on preventing the ball carrier from getting to the touchdown zone, the the Survivors managed to pull off a tricky play and got the ball to Del on the other wing. The Tooth Fairy made a desperate last turn block at the linewoman, but it did not work and the Tooth Fairy was knocked down, leaving the Del open to score the winning touchdown.”
today we fought a great match against some unnatural revived beings. their rotten flesh pestering the air and their hollow voices making our hearts tremble with fear. Just because of this fear they caught us unware and were able to launch the first series of attacks. Luckily this brought us back to our senses so we could form some sort of controlled offense. Unfortunately we lost the fragile control of the situation and had to fight hard to regain it. Some minutes later - to me it seemed like hours - we were able to break through and Scrat was able to score. the last remnants of the 1st half we were easily holding the Discworl Dead at bay, leaving them no chance to draw.
we used the halftime break to refresh and to get some advanced tactics into our mind. sadly those new tactics weren´t as good as promised, because the foul Undead were easily scoring early 2nd half. Our mood was very dark then, how should we manage to outwit them yet again?
just let me tell you that it was very close. Your friend Del was able to mark the winning touchdown with only seconds remaining on the clock.
The only sad moment was as Scrap got killed by an unfortunate block. But our doctors were quick enough to turn away the reaper.
We were victorious! We are now looking forward to our next match.
