“What a day to play Bloodbowl, thought Rodney as he wondered what the next fixture held in store for him and the team he played for. He had heard it was some Dark Elves they were playing. It later turned out that it was The Terrifying Anarchists of Naggaroth. Well so much for coming out of this game with a win. Lets just hope this isnt too humiliating.

At kickoff though, it turned out that five of the Anarchists didnt even show up, bieng at home nursing old wounds. Benny Berzerk was also at home but its not like that mattered to the Kindergartners anyway. Hmm...was this hope? Nah...

The Kindergartners chose to recieve and managed to knock down two of the Anarchists. But seeing as the Elves were incredibly nimble on thier feet, they ended up sidestepping and being in the way anyways! A small cluster was formed around Kenny and the Kindergartners pushed slowly down the left side of the field. The damned elves kept jumping around and getting in the way and making life generally miserable. The ball changed hand a couple of times until Rodney finally showed some elf skills and leapt in and snagged the ball, charging down the left side of the field. He saw and elf standing between him and TD zone. "All i need to do is leap over him and sprint a bit and its a lead for us!" he thought.

But alas...Poor Rodney leapt and the elf caught him by the foot and he fell, leaving the ball in the hands of the Anarchists.

The Anarchists quickly got hold of the ball and spread thier players out while the Kindergartners chased the elves frantically, trying to keep up and preventing them from scoring. With the elves so spread out, the Kindergartners went with a man to man (or woman) defense, hoping that this would be the best way from stopping them from scoring.

The man to man defense proved successful, as it seemed Nuffle liked it. The Anarchist thrower held the ball deep in thier half and waiting for a scoring opportunity. The Kindergartner defense held and thanks to a couple of of the elves tripping on some unseen rocks Stainless Steel Stan was able to reach the Anarchist thrower pummeling him and sending him to Neverland. Stan was then looked around for the ball...What the Hell??? The other elf now had it!

The new elven ball handler looked for an opening, but all he saw was the elves tripping over themselves. He also failed to notice that off on his right Stan was lining him up for a tackle. Rodney, who now had recovered from his rather painful leap attempt, saw that Stan was about to tackle the Elf and raced across the field. Stan tackled the elf, sending him sprawling one way and the ball bouncing the other. The other elves watched helplessly as Rodney picked it up and ran in for the TD at the end of the first half.

The second half saw the Kindergartners kicking off to the Anarchists. As the kick soared deep into Anarchist territory, the Kindergartners blitzed and knocked down 2 of the elves and advanced cautiously up the field. The kick went deep into the left corner of the field.

The Anarchists responded fiercely to the blitz. Henry, whom had seen Stan do the work for the TD, tackled Stan hard. Stan woke up the next day. While the mayhem was full swing at the LOS, two of the elves were quarreling of the ball in the left corner and ended up fumbling it. Arnie tried to take advantage of this, but tripped over a toad and broke his ribs!

The two elves in the corner finally got control of the ball and spread out. The Kindergartners had seen this before and went to the previously successful man to man defensive formation. But seeing as they werent outnumbering the elves anymore, au contraire, the elves had the upper hand by one man (or woman).

The tackling and manuevering continued seeing the Anarchists securily holding the deep in thier zone while the rest ran around trying to create openings to score. The Elves finally got a man free, Whom the Kindergartners thought was being held by Baldricks Tentacles. The nimble elf leapt out of his grasp and headed for the TD zone. The elven thrower sprinted down field from his previous position deep in elf territory. He threw the ball half way across the field and made it look far too easy. Rodney saw his opportunity and leapt to try and get a hold of it. But this was no regular thrower. The amount of spin he had put on the ball and just the right amount of hieght made it impossible for Rodney to intercept this pass. The Anarchists 1. The Kindergartners 1.

Halfway through the second half saw the Kindergartners recieving. Enough time to score and send the elves back to Naggaroth shamed. But the task wouldnt be easy. 11 elves vs 10 Kindergartners. Only Nuffle could tell.

The Kindergartners recieved the ball and passed it over to Edmund, being the strong beastman that he was. The Kindergartners had planned a rush down the left side of the field and went to it. But to thier astonishment, after about 10 minutes they had not gotten anywhere. The Anarchists were using the the offensive rush of the Kindergartners to thier advantage and carefully positioning themselves to steal the ball. Shortly after the Kindergartners had realized this, Bellow got a hold of Edmund. Inspite of the beastmans superior strength, Bellow easily knocked him over and placed the ball well in reach of Alexander. After an easy pickup by Alexander, The Anarchists proceeded to trap Baldrick, whom went amokk, and was pulled down by the elves. Being given a luxurious amount of time Alexander chucked the ball diagonally halfway across the field to William. Not being able to be reached by any of the Kindegartners before he could easily walk into the TD zone, the little hope of winning this game faded away.

Having lost by a score of just one, the Kindergartners had thier honor in tact and were pleased with the result. Lets just hope Khorne felt the same way....

*Great game vs a truly amazing team. I had superior strength but still couldnt position myself right for any good ol chaos cage play. Evolve played well even though Nuffle was against him. Once again, cheers Evo and thanks for playing.*”
