#5 Helioprax – Dead (RIP)
The witch Helioprax, sent by the god of murder to aid Room 101 in their time of need, is dead. Her mission was completed, though, and nothing less than the meddling of the gods can explain this victory.

In the first half, Room 101 were taught a lesson. Helioprax shunned her blood duties and ran free into the endzone; catching a pass from Tharemun. As punishment for her sacrilege, the gods rained blows upon her and as Urkak threw for Horan to burst free to score, Lastof and Kinrak tore her asunder.

Coming out of half time, Room 101 were at an all-time low. Talk before the match of Viniarda's retirement had shaken the team and they were being outplayed and outfought. One-nil down and with nine men versus eleven, they looked like being on the end of a huge beating.

Somehow, it was not to be.

A break down the left had been thwarted late in the first, but opening the second, Room 101 kicked deep to the right flank. Rookie Night thrower Manacy picked up but with three receivers open downfield, threw a horrible pass that failed even to cross the halfway line. Shist Vranarch flew behind the Night lines to grab the loose ball, but was soon surrounded as the defense flooded back into their own half to stop him. They were followed, however, by Nervan and Scard, and with the Preacher slamming Manacy out of the way, Vranarch was able to shoot into the right hand corner of the endzone. It was a close run-thing, and Priexam had to put Manacy down again before shoving Horan aside to make way.

So 1-1 with the final quarter remaining, but Viniarda's presence was making itself felt, and the reroll count was 5-0; so there was still hope.

Room 101 were right to have hope, because Manacy's nightmare game continued. He fumbled the pickup deep in his own half, and Priexam yet again shoved Horan aside to lead the chase-down; Niniarmu's pace taking him clear one-on-one with the Night's shaken thrower. Lastof's botched block on the line enabled the chasers to close down even further.

Manacy capped his awful performance by knocking himself out as he tried to rescue the ball, and Priexam's duel with Horan ended as he knocked the Night blitzer into the KO bin to free up the ball. Vranarch was able to scramble the ball over the line for the winner!

So, the Room march onwards, although bloodied and bowed. Of the two senior players: Sinubar Tharemun's wrist injury seems to be chronic, and he has announced that he will retire from the playing staff as soon a Surem Hertzuk is ready to take over. Viniarda has decided to play on for another few games but he too is showing signs of wear. From the carcass of Helioprax, sprang Hespedrax, the favour of Khaine continues to shine upon Room 101.
