“After a blitz at the start of the 2nd half and the removal of my last tackler from the field by a well placed boot, the game looked all over for my woodies.

Then a small placement error in the zon cage left me with a chance. A 1 dice block to free a blitzing path, a 1 dice blitz with my strip ball catcher (pushes for both, YAY) and the ball goes a-scattering.

And lands in between a horde of zons...........

I decide to scatter the ball out of the cage and trust my luck on where it lands, so I leap into the melee with my AG5 catcher, who much to my shock picked up the ball, and never let go of it again until scoring the 2-1 in the final turn.

The only pity about the game was the way the casualties were flying, but I guess after getting 6 BH out of 7 CAS in the last round I can't complain. On to the final of the qualifier, which with the damage we suffered today is a daunting task indeed.
