Bit of a dud game, really :)

Espionage played his numbers advantage to the fullest, making sure to set up some effective assists (helped in part by my astonishing ability to bonehead 2-3 ogres in almost every single turn), which let him keep my ogres on the ground and unable to affect the play much. Luckily, I managed to KO his troll and keep the belting to a minimum for my much-thumped Gobbos, who made it through the game with only 2 badly hurt. 3 turns in and Espionage scored his TD, and lined up for his defence.

Much of the rest of the game involved my guys fumbling around and generally making fools of themselves, including Gruff who continued his 'winning' streak of knocking himself out without scoring a single SPP, (up until turn 6 of the last half I had a luck% of 38... it was a mess) until Tizzy managed to get a hold of the ball as it scattered only 2 squares away from my endzone, dodged away from 5 opponents and made good headway into the other half of the field. It was not meant to be, however, as Krunk ran forwards, picked up little Tizzy, launched a brilliant Long Pass and managed to spike Tizzy's head into the ground like a tent peg, despite a team reroll. Turn 8 involved Binky following up after Tizzy in the capable hands of Krunk, as I tried to engineer a handoff so that Binky could run the ball in. However, it was not to be, as Krunk once again landed the poor Gobbo on his head, knocking him out. An enjoyable struggle that ultimately ended in a miserable failure, but a fun game :)

Oh, and my continuing efforts to make some freaking money to replace my Number 1 ogre, Chongo McGee, resulted in failure, as I only received 30000gp. I needed a three, dammit! A three!!! Oh well.
