I did not have the heart to foul Trad even when he was down to 4 players at halftime, and even though I knew it would eventually results in a forfeit. I got sloppy, he got lucky and he scored first in the 2nd half to make it 2-1 his favor. That when I decided to push a guy out of bounds. Apoth was already used (and could not be used anyway) and unfortunately it resulted in a death. Not what I intended and I again refrained from fouling (no fouls all game for me) so that he would not fall below 3 players before I scored the tying TD in turn 7. Not what the typical player would do, but I have respect for the players who get old and experienced teams despite being ravaged by injuries.

I don't thank Roos for the game because I felt worse killing his player than I did not losing. It sucks having a conscience. Roos was a classy opponent and I hope he has better luck in the future. ”
