“This was a good old wood elf game, I went into the game with 13 to ElGuappo's 10. We traded td's in the first half without much hassle. I feel i took the upper hand preventing an 8th turn touchdown from the Raiders but some stupid line elf forgot to make himself available for a return td. A BH to a useful Raider's catcher left me going into the 2nd half with the ball and a two man advantage. The SOT Raiders fans got the ref and Sting like a Bee instead of trying for the touchdown in the 2nd turn consolidated their position at halfway in probably the mistake of the match. A leap strip ball wardancer got the pushback and a helpful scatter made the ball available to the waiting Raider's wardancer who took the ball and the lead. The sun had come out by this time and ultimately the quest for the equaliser was in vain but only after both teams had fumbled passes for touchdowns. The Raiders scored in the dying moments to make the score line slightly ugly. Manuva didn't take root all game but managed 6 blocks with no lasting damage to the Raiders. Both teams enjoyed a good drink in the tavern after the game.
Cheers, Friendly Coach, Good game.
Some Sting fans left with the Raiders, unimpressed with 2 cas and 2 touchdowns. Glory hunters....”
