“The duskriders came into the season with a tough road ahead, and the Vanguard look to have caught them at their lowest ebb. Everything went right for the Vanguard, but it was such a one sided game the fans left in droves before it had even finished. Clinical once again, but the fans want to see the passion back!
Even Duskwind, the Duskriders' star AG5 thrower, was caught helplessly in the vicious throes of muppet madness today. Escaping the madness may well be a tougher ask than this season's draws! Will the Duskriders emerge from it to make it back to Prem again? They'll have to work out how to survive first! Darkmoon valiantly risked all to go for the win this game, heroic and valiant, but tragic at the same time - sometimes its difficult to find the road that gives your team the best long term advantage, specially if it means your lads have to play within themselves at times.
Then again, maybe that's what we've lost...the heroics, the valiant plays, the passion!

Hard to pick them this time around, and we'd give it to Darkmoon if we could for his brave heroics, but Twilight fought hard in the thick of it making the most blocks for his team.

Always in the action, but unfortunately couldn't pull off the big plays his team needed. Two votes for effort.

9 MV witch elf! Very fast. Very jealous she was on the other side! ”
“A depressing match for the Duskriders where very little went right and Snorri took full advantage.

3 Points. Frozen Tsunami. Was always on hand to pick up the ball whenever it spilled (which was frequently when the Duskriders had it) and scored some good opportunist touchdowns.
2 Points. Crimson Warden. Another beneficiary of our own misplays scoring two easy TD's.
1 Point. Glacial Warden. Always near the action, his strength was a constant problem.”
