“This game was played in great spirit - two brand new teams, both ended up having the ref for a half (Ogre in first, Orcs in 2nd) and neither used it - we simply tried to play ball, with varying degrees of success. Both coaches were chatty and taking their good and bad luck well I thought.

I was lucky with the scores - though a failed catch in turn 16 stopped a possible fourth. That would have flattered me somewhat. Seeing as Shorty is new to Ogres I think he did ok - only lucky armour rolls for me (i.e. no bad injuries save for the gobbo Badly hurt on a failed reroll, failed 2db) kept me in with a shout, so I shouted as loud as I could and ran hell for leather to the end zone!

53% luck with Ogres and no rerolls is pretty good I think, though both teams (I had 3 rr in 1st half, 4 in second) had luck in the 70s at one point, with some great turns - the Ogres scored thanks to superb dodging by a gobbo, give the ball to another, and shoot off down the field. I caught him, but 5MA just meant standing next to him - my fault for throwing my Blitzers forward.

A deserved score for a great sport - It was a pleasure playing Bloodbowl with ya Shorty - hope we get a rematch on soon!
