“The Horde shambled forth against an opponent who expected the usual mummies..etc.. How delighted sk8 was as the staggering corpses took to the field.
Things went well with the first drive. Ranpuhla's unholy strength was waxing thanks to a lump of illegal warpstone lodged in his sternum, and burst through the Legends line to score the opener.
After that, the horde began to crumble. The Legends sacked Ranpuhla to run in an equaliser before half time, and in the second half things continued downhill.
The Horde kicked and Ranpuhla dropped back to intercept the runners. A push down the left saw him running in to meet a shielded catcher. Erupting from a mass of bodies, he dodged through the two caging players to smash the ball-carrier, only to see the ball roll into the crowd and fly back onto the pitch at the feet of one of the elves he had escaped from only seconds ago. Needless to say, the Legends ran in the easy Touchdown and in doing so, KO'd the increasinly unfortunate Ranpuhla.
The warpstone had clearly been dislodged, and the Horde's Mighty Wight didn't emerge from the bin for the rest of the match. This was the end of the game for his minions, and the Legends blitzed home another late on, as Wud and Yod took turns to fumble the ball around the backfield.
Another expected loss for the Horde, but a great opponent and Ranpuhla marches on!”
