Well what a run of dice this was. We know Norse are mostly av7, but this was just overkill. We both started with weakened teams thanks to multiple injuries in the previous game, but in the first turn, the Mino was SI.

Despite playing 11 vs 9, it was hard to break through the Norse's strong defense, and the ball was dropped a few times before Surrey finally crossed in turn 6.

Now by this time, the Norse were down to 7, but were unlocky to score as the undead became overoccupied in the centre, leaving a blitzer free down a wing. A successful long bomb pass, he just had to dodge out of Surrey's tackle zone to score, but as with almost every dice roll for my opponent this game, it didn't go his way.

The 2nd half was mostly just more of the same. Once the ball had been knocked out of Norse hands, the game was just a case of advancing down to the endzone while more and more Norsemen disappeared from the pitch into an assortment of injury boxes. The Norse finished with just 2 on the field.

A harsh injustice over what should have been a decent, tight game. Good spirit shown by spiderswebb11, and here's to hoping he faces stunties next.
