Semi Final Game
Started out brutal and got rougher from there. First blitz of the game results in the first dead skink (saved by the apo). That turned out to be the first of many casualties of the game.
Barley took full advantage of his recently acquired tackle skill. By the end of the match his hooves and legs were dripping with skink blood and he had personally accounted for 4 dead or maimed skinks.
I won the toss and kicked to my opponent, he did not protect his skinks well enough and so had no chance to score in the first half.
He kicked to me to start the second half, i scored on turn five. That left three turns for my opponent to even the score. He ran a skink with the ball deep into my end, I blitzed him down next to the sideline. My hobgob picks up the ball and tries to gfi once in order to long bomb it downfield for the long shot score. Of course the gfi fails and that hobgob is missing a game.
The skinks get a second chance, one skink dodges along the sideline and into the end zone. The other skink picks up the ball, tries to quick pass it into the endzone and ...drops the ball.
Even I was hoping he would make it, so that i could finish them off in OT. :-)

On to the finals, two dwarves got a skill. They will most likely both take guard.
I will wait and see who my opponent is.”
