“hehe... just take a look at the reply, no turnover for my opponent in 16 turns, 1st turn foul (1,1)+7 and then 2 of my best players KILLED, I opened 4 or 5 avs in the whole game, 2 of them fouling... he didnt protect the ball but he get the way to score due to some really lucky scatters...
He even let me the chance to score a OT, but of curse, i got just pows after 4 dices...
Nothing to say but take a look slowly at the Reply, lol "I was a bit lucky" i would say a bit lucker than "a bit" :P
I started with only 3 Chaos Warriors and a 12 man roster in this game.
At the start, one beastman (of one) niggled and so it was 11 vs 16.
I started my kick off kind of unmotivated, because I expected a clearly one-sided game in favour of the Undead.
Their handicap was: Buzzing and Smelling Salts.
1st round: 3 Blocks + Foul: no stunned or worse.
1st round for me: Killed the Sf, Frenzy, Jump Up Mummy!
He could do the touchdown, but only with a -2d block (he needed pushes).
I scored in Turn 8.
At the start of the second half, I managed to hurt 5 players (one was ejected) and so I had now good feelings about this half.
As a blitz to this AG4 Ghould failed, he received the opportunity to do a 1d blitz with 2 GFI (weather: Blizzard) and he got a POW!
The ball bounced quite good for him, he tackled it with two players.
But in the next rounds I simply overpowered him with my many ST4 players and so it came, that he couldn't hide when he had the ball.
One blitz (needed to dodge away from a mummy, because 2 blocks to "push" him free didn't bring me that) and a pick up followed and so I got the ball and won the game.
I was again a bit lucky (you always have to see both sides: I lost a cw the game before and a St4 Beastman was missing), without the higher luck compared to my opponent, it would be very hard for me to reach the overtime.”
