“We were suprised by a viking longboat off our port bow, where it had come from we were unsure, but the fog had been thick as we made our way alone the coast of Lustria.
The Captain had decided to try to put into port and repair the ship after we had weathered a horrific storm.
We quickly prepared for battle and Sneaky Pete Polhill made it quickly onboard the longship searching for loot.
When the vikings came aboard, they came with a huge beast, half-man half bull and he tore through our ranks and scattered bodies to the wind. Krazy Ivan went down under the beasts horns, then Vaprak. We were sorely tested without our heavy hitters.
And then the world came crashing down as a wild viking, similiar to our own Wild Wilhelm savagely attacked the Captain, killing him....
fortunately the ships doctor was right there to administer aid and revive the Captain.
But after that our spirits were broke and 1st mate Thomas Fern called a retreat and we cut the lines binding the ships together.
We escaped with our lives to lick our wounds and to vow revenge on the viking longship.
Amazingly as the lines were cut and the ships broke apart Sneaky Pete jumped the rail and brought aboard, from the viking ship a small bag of loot and a near twin of the huge beast.
We were somewhat taken aback, but Pete assured us that it would only do us minimal harm if we got in its way and that someday it might be as valuable an asset to our raids as the beast that had just wrecked our crew.”
