“Johann charged in to the locker-room. His face was red with rage.
The team looked surprised, this had never happened before.
"What in the name of Sigmar do you think you're doing?" Johann roared.
Ragnar came rushing after him, panting as if every breath would be his last.
"I don't pay you to rest! And getting a little knocked on the head is no excuse for resting the whole game!"
"Erh," Edward started. "You don't pay us at all."
The room fell silent, and everyone looked away.
Johann slowly turned his eyes towards Edward.
"You're that new guy, aren't you?" he asked, knowing very well the answer to the question. "Do you want supper today?"
Edward nodded, looking at the floor.
Johann eyed every one in the room. Noone opposed him. Not even Ragnar, who still fought to catch his breath.
"Next time - do better!" Johann said. "Or I might just sell one of you, to make up for lost profits."
He turned around to leave, when he saw Elsie.
"What are you doing here? This is the men's locker-room! Get out!"
"But, but..." Elsie stuttered. "It's the only locker-room we have."
Johann grunted. "Mhm, but cover yourself up or something!"
Johann left.
Ragnar looked at the team... still worked up from the walk to the locker-room. He made a long pause.
"What he said..." was all he said and then he left. He was going to say some encouraging words, but remembered that he'd left the brandy-bottle open in the office, and that's where Johann was headed... ”
