#8 Jinos Ye – Serious Concussion (-AV)
#9 Quar Ulblade – Smashed Knee (NI)
I could've done without the serious injures, but, hey, it was a great game.

Hated to lose it, but my boys just fell apart after half-time. Hats off to Wot, because he came back from a seriously bad first half and dominated the rest of the game.

I ended up with three skills and a boat load of money, so I'm pleased. And I don't have to go against Lucky One or whatever that team is so more power to Pound for Pound.

I'll be cheering for him, but putting my money on the undead. :)

I'm pragmatic like that.

Rematch anytime...

Well what a superb game this was, and I think I speak for both coaches, even if the result favoured me in the end. It has quickly restored my confidence in the players on fumbbl after a horrible last match. Johnny is someone I will happily play again any time.

Anyway, back to the cracking game. Jonny received 1st half and set about breaking my armour regularly while all I could really manage was a deseperate blitz here and there. I had used all 3 rerolls before he even thought of using his.. it wasn't the orcs finest hour. Johnny went 0-1 up, and had numbers on his side, which counts for a lot in these kind of newbie-team games. I had saved the niggle, but had lost players to BH and KOs.

But then the 2nd half began, and the orcs struck back fast with some effective play, making it 1-1... I stalled one turn to try and get some blocks in, and get some advantage for the next drive, but managed to double skull and use up my last reroll.

The 2nd half ended with some desperate defending from the orcs, and a large slice of bad luck for the chaos team... both down on first block of the drive to win the game...

So, extra time.. nuffle smiled on me to let me receive, and Hurler, the orc thrower managed to grab the ball and hold on to it for most of the half... As the orcs neared the end zone, and a chaos beastman deseperately and successfully dodged for a blitz on the ball carrier the game did this:(Listen Thread IO Exception.
Software caused connection abort: recv failed)
and we had to reload as we saw it... we made sure the blitz worked and the ball spilled but apparently Johnny's beasty failed to pickup. It was a fairly simple blitz and pickup to win the match but a couple of ones would have seend a coin flip for the game.

Cracking game Johnny... Good luck in the Orca series!
