“To put it bluntly, I was fearing this game - my Humans aren't exactly bashy, and my failure to break armour more than once vs a stunty side a couple of games ago (42 x 3 dice blocks, 1 cas) had me wondering how I'd fare against AV7.

Well, I guess the dice decided early on that I'd fare quite well - the Elves armour crumbled like soft cheese.

I was glad when the Elves pulled off an excellent couple of turns to bring the score up to 2-1. Till then, their luck had been lousy and Mercdaemon is a good sport - doesn't deserve the ass handing the dice gave out today, for sure.

After that, the ball turned to soap for my guys for a few turns, but the Elves were so depleted the chance to score another to make it 2-2 was slim anyway.

The scoreline flatters me somewhat. I moved the ball from my own end zone, near enough, to the half way line, passed, ran, handed off, then GFI twice to make it 3-1, all without rr (which had been burnt a while back).

The only downside is 30k cash for me - I wanted, *prayed for* 40k so I could afford another reroll, but hey ho - when everything else goes so right, it's greedy to expect great cash as well.

Rematch when you're ready Mercdaemon - I don't believe the 60% each luck score for an instant - we both know who had the lion share of luck in this one, and I dare say the result might be different if the luck were more even.
