#11 Tea Tree Plaza – Smashed Hip (-MA)
A win would take me to Premier, a loss or draw would see no chance at wildcard glory.... and i had to play my most hated race - lizards and down squillions of TR/TS to boot.

So I did what any good respecting chaos coach would do in this situation - foul, scratch and foul. Unfortunately, the skinks were untouchable and the Saurus were unbreakable and Silibili was in the game holding the ruck... so I was despite moments of pure arsey madness, totally outplayed.

Congrats to Arta, he has a nice team developing - hope you get the wildcard berth.

PS - this game was logging in #tinshed during play and I could see the specs chat. Very interesting in deed!

3pts - Balldrinker II. 3TD's without a sweat. Untouchable.

2pts - Vrool. ST5, block breaktackle... say no more.

1pt - Ratpoker. Got a TD, ran heaps (24yrds). Well played.

After 3 seasons in SWL, coach ArtaXerxes could hide no longer from the Master Commissioner – Clay. While the papers had been writing up the large strength imbalance between the teams (Westfield a shadow of the team it was earlier in the season thanks to Tales of Misery and Woe), nothing is certain till the final whistle blows. (Case in point – 24 hours earlier the Aust cricket team posts a ODI world record score of 434, to be beaten hours later by South Africa…. Sorry, back to BB).

The game all went to plan, other than Balljuggler hitting the celebration “chicken juice” before kick-off and the coach choosing to leave the bone-head skink in the dug-out for the game. A classic game of fast movement with the Fossils capitalising on Westfield mistakes. Although the game did look odd a one point with the Fossils trying out Westfield’s classic Clage manoeuvre.

Twahnlow Votes:

3 vote - #7 Bondi – This guy probably deserves the 2 votes for 2nd as well. Showed his elfish prowess with 3 amazing dodging runs to pick up the ball in tacklezones (2 of 3 times anyway). A fine emerging star who following this game has learnt the finer points of blocking. Beware Bondi in SWL14!

2 votes - #8 Burwood – did some nice ball work on the first Westfield offensive, and other general good play.

1 vote – Really a “best of the rest”, goes to #5 Bay City
