“Second game for the Mingy Yowlin' Boyz and they were put back in their place today. After an easy win in their first game, a strong and experienced team of Khermi woke the overly optimistic Orcs up.
Da Boyz won the coin toss, but decided to give the Greatest Ever first possession. A mistake? Maybe, but the plan was to hold them off to go into the break with a 0-0 score.
Things didn't work out as planned, the Greatest Ever Mummies had a good day and Da Boyz' Black Orcs were knocked over one by one. Slowly the Khermi team gained terrain and looked destined to score sooner than later. On their way, the Orcs lost their thrower Trkal Shortspear, who insulted one of the Mummies and was knocked to the other world with a mighty blow from the wrapped guy.
The Greatest Ever eventually scored 1-0, but Da Boyz figured to have a bit of time left. Trunks Snakeeye decided to go for it, passed deep to debuting blitzer Bagnar Whitefang. Whitefang ran for his life but was eventually tackled and stripped from the ball to end the half trailing 1-0.
IN the second half, Da Boyz seemed to have regrouped, under the command of Slash Bristly Oar, who looked stronger than ever before. The Orcs failed to pick the ball up quickly to gain terrain and after the line of scrimmage broke, the Greatest Ever saw one of their guys grab the loose batted ball pretty soon. The Khermi team scored again and the Orcs were looking destined to lose 2-0. In the final seconds, Trunks Snakeeye tried to throw a bomb to one of his Black Orcs, but the pass was batted down and the Khermi managed to score a few seconds later for a 3-0 final score.
Trunks Snakeeye seems to have ripped his shoulder apart on the two pass attempts he made and in spite of gaining accuracy, it looks like the sore shoulder will limit his ability to play games in the future. After the game, the players fought over the belongings of the late Trkal Shortspear. It almost looked like he was never part of the team...”
