“The dice were kinder to me this game, first time in this tournament. However, it didn't start out like that -

1st turn, lizards receive, first block, KILL Zombie (regen)
2nd block of 1st turn, KO Flesh Golem :S

However, I stuck to the game plan - attack the skinks. The team was already down to 9 after previous batterings, and KOing the Skinks wasn't too hard when I could catch them.

I'm not a dirty player - I always wait for an opponent to foul first before I start, so I was quite glad when the Lizards put one on my downed guy - I got stuck in for the rest of the game, but little more than KO. Still, it meant I had the ball free and clear, and able to slow the play down - vital against Skinks I feel. I've had Lizardteams of my own, and whilst they sucked at blocking, they ran in TD for fun.

So, got ball, stalled in 1st half till late on, and had a longshot chance (needed 3+ and handoff) to make it 2-0, but the 3+ dodge failed, the pickup having already eaten my last reroll.

In second half, things went even better for me - though an incredible series of no reroll rolls had a skink diving into multiple TZ and snatching the ball up and away from me (7 needed, got 6). Luckily (for me) the wolves soon caught up.

After that it was all over bar the shouting. With 4 players left the lizards didn't have much luck, and the Kroxigor bone headed at vital times (for me) - it's about time I got some luck with this team, and hopefully a few skills as well - no skills in 2 games, 1 dicerape and another game a complete mess of fumbbled rolls, I guess I was due some luck.

Thx for the game Mordredd - with a full roster might have been different outcome.
