“After being ridiculously lucky for 1½ halves vs gken1 in the semi-final and winning after a hard fouling war, they faced "the old enemy", the Wave Motion in the final. The Motion had gotten out of their semifinal almost as unharmed as the Desperados, but the darkelves were the clear favourites with nearly 50 TS over the skaven.

As the game started, Motion lost their star thrower Alex Wildstar immediately to a niggling injury, and despite the Desperados suffering from Morley's Revenge, the skaven team was undermanned and outnumbered for the whole game. The Desperados underhand tactic was to take out Wave Motion's excellent scorers, which they managed extremely well, killing super-star GR Avatar.

As the Desperados take their second consecutive title and set the aims to do it a third time, what do the competing coaches plan? Could the one way to beat them be playing their own game of assassination?
