“A match of mixed feelings for the mentalists. It started with a brave blitz attempt by star Bull Centaur Coldrotten Ashfist as he motored through the LOS using break tackle, however when he reached his destination I hadn't selected blitz. his was to be his downfall. He continued to harrangue the ball carrier but two turns later, isolated near the opposing end zone, a brutal, cold blooded, cold rotten murder took place, by a marauding elf. the apo failed and the mentalists were stunned, not least the opposing coach who, like everybody in attendance, couldn't quite believe what had happened.

An emotional mess, the mentalists resorted to wasting a foul attempt on a niggled elf lineman, before mellortron pulled his troops together and demanded they win this match in the memory of coldrotten. overcoming their grief, despite being forced to walk over the area of his death throughout the match, the chaos dwarf blockers took the fight to the elves, knocking out no less than 8 players before half time, whilst preventing any touchdowns.

Having pulled themselves further together at half time, where coach mellortron was seriously considering retiring his team, the mentalists vowed to go onwards and upwards, with plans of recruiting a new rookie BC in the near future. despite an already depleted squad, which has been rocked by numerous deaths in recent weeks and also accumulated several nigglign injuries, the mentalists, fired up, came back onto the pitch and battled hard all half and were justly rewarded with a non-spectacular drive towards the endzone, resulting in a memorable touchdown for bogiejuice on turn 8.

a wonderful performance by the mentalists, marking a new era for this much improved team. the way in which they restricted the elven opposition to zero touchdowns with only 4 cdbs and 1 bc was remarkable.
