#8 Neville Lite – Dead (RIP) #11 Hank Smiddy – Dead (RIP)
“Well, despite that horrible moment early on in a game when you realise that you're playing vs a much better coach than you, i pressed on.
The boys managed to get it to 10 vs 10 after Neville's early death (killed while going for it to chase down the ball on a Blitz kickoff) and were fighting for the equalising touchdown right up until the last turn. However, with the ball in his hand and the rest of his team holding back the five remaining rats, Daddy Fatsacks forgot what it was he was supposed to be doing and from then on it was a few turns of scrambled chasing near the endzone on the way to an eventual loss.
In all, The Hippos did quite well in terms of getting a trough of KOs and setting up the second half (our first equaliser was a simple TTM for Pedro) and were unlucky not to take something from the game.
Mithril was a great opponent and gave some top advice in what was probably the most entertaining game that the Hippos have played.”
