“Well, well. A huge dicerape in the beginning set the tone for the rest of the match, as we failed multiple 2+ RR and 3+ RR dodges, resulting in bh's and mng's. We had our little bit of luck when, after fielding a whooping 6 players, 4 of whom were stunned by a nasty pitch invasion, the lizzies dropped the ball near Níniel, who swiftly caught it and dumped it off to Finduilas when being blocked. Finduilas ran near the end zone, only to be blitzed by a saurus accompanied by a horde of skinks. She did manage, however, to blitz the skink who took the ball with 1 die and end up with the ball in her hands. Then she miraculously managed to leap past the skinks and dodge to the endzone, salvaging a 2-1 lead.

It was her first and last succesful leap. Sadly, Finduilas was killed on the pitch today in the hands of the lizard dp. Our own dp, Haleth, got the boot from of the same skink and got a niggle, the apo failing to save her. She never managed to land a single foul with her dp!

Our victory was only a pass and a dodge away, but a lucky skink caught a 6+ intercept which allowed Froglegs to tie in the 16th turn. In our own 16th turn, the team record was set when we were able to field only 4 players for the final kick-off.

A horrible game, team-wise. Two mng's, a niggle and a death - the dying player being no other than our second most experienced catcher. This game was a huge setback for our team, and the next game will be interesting.”
