“The Madmen came into this game with confidence. However they just could not organize their defense, or get a nice offenisve rush. They just could not manage tto get anything going. The much more organized humans just sliced through them like a knife through butter, and the result reflects that. But overall not a very negative game for Belmac, for it was their very first game, and they should improve greatly for future contests.”
“Brantford came out pumped for their match against the Belmac Madmen, and quickly took the lead after a Belmac turnover. The team then went on to sneak through the Belmac lines to force another turnover, and eventually another touchdown. After the halftime break, Belmac seemed poised for comeback. However, Brantford wouldn't budge and went back to work putting another point up on the board after a playbook 2 turn rush. In the last rush of he game, Belmac seemed to have everything working, however a stray pass which went to a Beerdrinkers player spelt disaster for Belmac's last touchdown chance. Brantford wenton to win 4-0 over the Madmen.Brantfords MVP, Bobby Blitz, told a reporter that, "the scorboard did't really show what was happening on the field. Belmac put up a tough game and deserved a closer match, But I'll take the win anytime."”
