“The Revenge of Clan Ultier were in trouble when 3 of their 8 players nursing niggling injuries pulled up sore before the match, leaving them with only 9 to take the field against the Hellbringers.
Despite this, the Clan were able to score a pretty easy touch down thanks thanks to their super agile players.
However, the Clan only had 8 players in defence vs the Hellbringers and were soon found themselves outmuscled as another 2 players were knocked out and another badly hurt as the Hellbringers fed the ball to Chaos Dwarf Dzakrog Flamehammer for his first ever TD.
In the second half, the Clan could only field 7 in defence as one of their players was still knocked out from early in the first half. This soon was reduced to 6 players as the Hellbringers injured another with the first block of the half.
This Clan were soon reduced to 5 as their super star Lion Warrier Ineluki was seriously injured by the piling on Chaos Dwarf Tziggoran, and then became 3 players as one was badly hurt dodging and another from a block by Troll Smasher Vomitflesh.
The Hellbringers walked in the easy TD and then lined up in defence hopeful of scoring a third against the massively depleted Clan lineup.
The Clan only had 4 players in offence and a failed hand off under pressure allowed the Hellbringers to steal the ball after Hobgoblin Zulpati seriously injured super-star Clan Phoenix Warrior Trey Bouchet II with a block to push him away from the loose ball.
With only 3 players to line up in offence late in the second period, the Clan could do little to stop the Hellbringers from stealing the ball again and scoring a 4th TD.

Condolences to Cusi. The nasty niggle rolls at the start really did him in. He failed 3 from 8 rolls and that left him vastly undermanned and it was easy for me to get 2 dice blocks all over the place without too many free Clan players to worry about.
Using the apothecary on a -1 MA on a nice lineman was a bit of gamble too, and as it was, after this, two of his superstars got a niggle, one was me using my Piling On CD (which was overkill really, but I didn't want his AG 5 Leap Blodger stealing the ball and scoring), and the second was just unlucky with a Hobbo getting the SI.
A totally unenjoyable match for Cusi and understandably so. After the match, the Clan cleaned house and sacked a whole lot of players in an attempt to rebuild the franchise, I wish them luck having played them 3 times with the Hellbringers and being responsible for some of the carnage they have suffered.
