“Well, to put it simply, I got massacred and outplayed BIG TIME!
My first game with Chaos was a wreck, but it was a good learning experience. He had the skills, I didn't. He had the re-rolls, I didn't. He had the incredible positional players, I didn't. He had the better tactics and play, I didn't. He had the luck when it counted, I didn't. he got money and SPPs, I didn't. But don't feel bad for me. It was me who agreed to play this game in the first place, even though I knew I wouldn't fair well.
I basically learned that in order to play with Chaos, you need a shitload of re-rolls to move the ball. Oh yeah, and quite a bit of luck for begginer teams with no skills.
That said, I didn't mind the total wreckage because I learned a few valuable lessons. And Markusen was a good sport too. His fans got the ref in the first half, and he only fouled strategically, not as I would've done (He, he, he, fouling warsare fun! Wait! I didn't mean that!)
Thanks for the game and the learning experience. Boy I like
“It's not that easy to start a new Chaos team, 'couse the lack of Block-skill. To start with just 1 RR and a fan factor of 6 does not make it easier.
It's not a must to have all the 4 Chaos Warriors from the beginning. And in my eyes Chaos teams do not need a Big Guy when get started. I would start with 1-3 Warriors, no Big Guy. Better to hav a second or third RR and, of course a fan factor of 8-9.
Well, team devolpment is not given in
, TR150 is maximum. Therefor I personally wouldn't buy a Big Guy at all. They look so scary with ST5 and Mighty Blow, but, if you played a couple of games with them, you'll recognize that they will mess up a lot of drives. Without skilled players you cannot counter this.
Nevertheless, Beastmen have a powerful skill - Horns. Combined with the ST4 Chaos Warriors, Chaos teams have powerful players on the field. Only Orcs and Khemris have more strengh on the pitch.
Well, Oblitzamanager, I think you'll make your way to a good coach. As a beginner you played a good game. You'll gain more coaching skills by playing matches for sure.
Take care man and good luck for you and your Carnage Worshippers! See you around ;-)
