Duh Where Am I?
A pretty lucky set for me. Anyways, the game started in rainy conditions with the Falcons kicking.
The Enforcer's brought the ball forwards allowing the Falcons to send in two leapers to knock it free and eventually steal it to score a TD.
On the next drive, the Falcons again got an opening to steal the ball and score to take a 2-0 lead. The Enforcers did have some joy though when they did a one dice Pow and got a casualty heh.
With 2 turns left in the half, the Enforcers only managed to get one player into socring position on the first turn of their drive. The Falcons knocked him over and the Enforcers could not score. Then the Falcons blocked a sidestepper who was two squares too far from the end zone. Two dice, pushes. Two dice, pushes LOL. I created a new possible scorer for my opponent!
Anyways, I try to cover him, but my opponent managed to do a 4+ catch 4+ dodge, 2+ dodge and 2 GFI to score. It was a great and entertaining TD and well deserved.
Second half, the Falcons started in offence and were able to effect score and then steal once more and score to seal the victory.
On the final turn, it finally stops raining and my opponent is cursed as he rolls a 1 to catch the ball on his attempt to gather one more SPP.
Anyways, it was a fun game in the end, with money for both, no permanents and some SPP each. A shame my opponent lost a FF though.
He played a good game with no major mistakes (apart from bringing in the ball towards my two leapers early and did very well against a much better team who were having some good dice rolls all day.
I look forward to a rematch sometime. ”
