“The luck figure is flattering to Jinxed. He had terrible rolls in the second half, but to be fair there was nothing he could do with only 7 players against my 11. I managed to get through the game without any serious injuries which I consider a success and also a +1 fan factor. Forel the Witch Elf had a good game with 2 TD's, some inspired blocking and leading rusher in the team for the game. My thrower actually managed to pick up the ball in the first attempt and complete a pass, I feel truely blessed!

The first half saw the Soul Splitters down in men and unable to stop the rumble of the Nurgle team. They scored near the end of the first half but thanks to 'Get the Ref' I had managed to take out some of their key players through fouls.

The second half was a good scoring move by the Soul Splitters to tie the game 1-1. Pressure and the lack of numbers in the offensive drive meant the Soul Splitters could gain an advantage. Forel droped a hand off for a certain TD and it was quickly passed down field by the Nurgle team, for an effective counter attack. A score would have shut off the game, but the additional speed of Asurano helped assist a covering blitz, which brought down the ball carrier deep in the Soul Splitters half. Neric scooped up the loose ball and passed it down the field. Forel ran it in for her 1st TD for the Soul Splitters. On the restart, Influenza dropped deep with the ball whilst the rest of the team tried to free up some space. The Beast of Nurgle tried blocking Neric, who turned the block around and flattened him. This turnover enabled the Blitzing pair of Asurano and Eluar to smash the ball carrier and scoop up the loose ball to score. The 3rd TD was almost the same, a fumbled handoff in the Nurgles backfield created a loose ball situation which the Soul Splitters pounced on. Forel ended up scoring in the last turn of the game, for her 2nd TD on her debut!”
