“Note TR difference mainly due to 430K Da Skarr Boyz Save the Forrests Fighting Fund
-----------------
The Boyz started in offence and benefitted from a Blitz. Several players charged deep into Superheroines territory and whilst the Amazons ran back in defence, they were unable to stop the Boyz from scooping up the loose ball and scoring a quick TD to start the match.
On the next kickoff, a dropped backfield pass by the Superheroines allowed the Boyz to mount on the pressure, eventually surrounding the Amazon players and freeing up the ball for the Boyz to take a decisive 2-0 lead before half time.
In the second half, the Boyz played a grinding game as they were determined to give their Black Orc Blockers more experience and they eventually managed to get the ball to Black Orc Blocker Kraknog Bonebreaker late in the final period for the big fella to score his first ever TD.
--------------
My opponent was unlucky to get blitzed to start the game then watch me make a 4+ then 3+ dodge to the ball, and then make the 3+ pick up to get an early score.
After that, dropping the catch with a catch reroll was also a bummer.
My Stand Firm players made it very hard for him to force any holes and quite a few times he started his turns with a couple of one dice blocks when he could have set up two dice blocks elsewhere. As it was, it was not until the last drive of the game that he put one of his Guard players on the LOS to give him a free two dicer, but then we rolled a 6 turn riot!
As it was, my opponent was very sporting and never once complained about the bad luck he was dealt during the match. An enjoyable opponent to play.
I now have two BOBs that need just one more SPP for their next advance thanks to the lucky MVP roll to the new recruit. Looks like they will be trying a pass or two next game hehehe. ”
