“Semi-final in the Swedish elite league - Allsvenskan.

The strongly favoured Skaven team, Garbage Pail Kidz, against the High Elves, Gärdet Slättspringare. The Skaven team was loaded with quick and agile Gutter Runners and a brutal Rat Ogre while the elves more relied on team work.

The game started off with a quick TD by the elves with a smooth 2 turn pass play in good elf style. GPK then had their drive and injured an elf right off the bat and ran through with all 4 runners. Gärdet went for a WA trap and left the back field quite open. This tactic worked perfectly and the RO went down and allowed the elves to blitz the ball carrier. After this followed a long wait and see kinda game where Gärdet's players tried to stall. They succeeded with this and scored in the last turn.

The Skaven medic team had problems getting their players back on the field and all 4 KO'd players stayed in the box. One of them regained conciousness for the 2nd half.

The second half started with the Skaven team on the offense and it looked pretty much like the first one besides that 2 runners were missing. Gärdet made a nice defensive coverage and intercepted the TD pass. The great RO then blitzed the ball carrier but GPK didn't manage to captalise on this and instead Gärdet's Furian picked up the ball and made a long pass down the pitch to a free lineman who ran away with the ball. Once again Gärdet stalled the game and scored 3-0 in turn 7 and the game was pretty much over.

On to the Final for the glorious high elves in Gärdet Slättspringare.”
