Pouring rain to start so the Orcs were slowed down moving the ball forward. The Saurus were held firmly put. The Orc ballcarrier was suddenly surrounded by skinks and failed to get away: he was knocked over and the ball fell in between the players. The Edkrushas came up with a nifty move to push a skink on the ball but it worked out desasterously: it bounced into Skink hands! And to top it the Orcs were unable to knock him over. They held on to him but he escaped... 0-1.
Little time was left for the Orcs to even the score this half. They sent forward a lone blizer, holding down the Saurus. That left the Kinks to do the blitzing but they knocked themself badly hurt: 1-1.
The weather cleared up.
The Lizardmen were down to 8 men now. They failed a block and the ballcarrier was left open. With a little luck he was knocked over and an Orc Thrower dodged and stretched to pick up the ball. The Orc fun didn't last long because the Thrower was knocked over immediately after that and again a Skink ran off with the ball but without Saurus protection it had nowhere to run to. Twice, the Orcs weren't able to knock him over but fortunately he hurt himself badly trying to dodge away. The ball fell in front of a Blitzer who just had to pick it up and score: 2-1.”
