“Wow...what a great match...with overtime it took a total of 2 hours n 20 minutes. I was able to pull off some miraculous moves on my last turn to tie, but the fates decreed that I had to kick in OT. After holding the elves for 6 turns (despite their low numbers), they finaly managed to break out and score. CCC rules state that OT is sudden death, so my undead were sent home early in the april tournies. Death (wight) and Broke (skeleton) really showed up today, combinding for 5 out of the 8 total casualties, and both skilled up. Sadly, my lead mummy shawn triped on a gfi, failed with rr, then rolled 11 for the injury, leading to a MNG. 4 ones...sounds like what my opponent had. I rolled POW after POW and he failed and failed, yet the athletic elves could not be touched in OT. Great game celas. Oh and his dead player was a DP that BH my other mummy on the first turn. Death (wight) came in a bit later for some revenge and ironicaly enough, killed him. Sad that we couldn't win despite huge numerical advantage, we BH all 3 of his guard players, one being the treeman. Sigh...only so much you can do with no tackle...”

#4 Obstruction – Dead (RIP)
“I don't write a lot of match reports anymore, but damn this was a nailbiter. I thought I had the game won in turn 1 when I BH his mummy (no regen). But it turned into a big struggle. Despite having no tackle, the blodgers were POWed and two cas (of the 8, ouch!!!!) came on 1d blocks. There were no restarts and my moves were not too risky, so the luck meter does tell a small tale. The kind of tale that makes a coach curse (6 sets of double ones and 2 sets of skulls) and seem like a poor sport (me, not him) but luckily I bit my tongue before I put off the opposing coach. You never want to make a bad first impression and ex-convict proved he was a gamer.
Scored in turn 7 of OT and unfortunately the rules of the tourney states the game ends then, although I have no doubt ex-con would have tied it otherwise. Good match, I hope we play again in the CCC.”
