I got lucky in the beginning with this one when my bomber took down both his beasts in the first turn of the game, on a blitz. Then in my actual first turn I managed to deathroll his beast killing him. It wasn't too long before his second beast was KO'd by the roller and without his beasts I was able to slowly take out his players one by one.

Regen let my opponent down on a number of occasions and if it wasn't for his only beast coming back into the game in the second half, it could've been even more damaging for him.

This was never really about scoring and my opponent nearly won the game in the last turn 2-1, but gfi let him down at the vital moment leaving the result 1-1.

A good "David vs Goliath" game for me though against a good opponent who played well in bad circumstances. Well played.”
