“Whiskey League Match Report

Not your typical elf ball match. Winos win the toss and WNS kick off. BLITZ!! I don't do anything useful with it and I burn a reroll. Wino manage a pass down the field but we take the ball away. Can't do anything useful since we're out of rerolls and there's a series of one's and skulls from both sides. After an ugly first half, Wil'ee Nilsun manages to score on turn 7. WNS are down three elves; our passer got BH on a failed 2+ dodge.

Winos kick off... INJURY TIME!! WNS manages to form a cage on the Winos side of the pitch after taking care of the three LoS DE. We go to pick up the ball. Roll a one. Not looking good, we end up getting surrounded, but we block/blitz a small hole to one side. Go to pick up and pass, the catch is good and one dodge and one gfi later the score is 1-1 before the half.

Second half, we receive with two elves down. Form a cage on our side, once again we're surrounded, but we manage a small hole which Icenabl sneaks out of. The WNS coach becomes a bonehead and Icenabl gfi twice for no reason, failing the second gfi and gets stunned. Winos pounce on the ball and pass back to our side of the pitch. We manage to get a couple of HE over to the ball carrier, our blitz knocks the ball free. The Winos fight back but push the ball and it bounces into Righalt's hands. He dodges out and passes to Icenabl who has been waiting for the ball. The slow DE can't reach him. We setup for a one turn delay. The Winos put up stiff resistance, dodge out of a TZ and blitz Icenabl with one die. POW! The ball bounces into the EZ right on the corner. We blitz back to clear the ball and catcher and manage to score on our turn 16.

Well played game for hark130, the ball could have bounced the other way easily. Got decent cash and had two guys skill. Righalt rolled doubles!”
