The Counts suspect that someone has fed the the thralls something which makes the thralls better, faster and stronger and themselves more clumsy, slow and weak. Usually its up to the vampires to score but in this game they struggled. There were a few lucky shots that went home but all in all they seemed to trip on their shoe laces or hurt themselves while blocking. In the dying seconds of the match a lone thrall holding the ball was surronded by no less than five opponentsl! The score was two to two and all the fans were sure there was going to be a tie. Suddenly Count Tower blitzes in but only manages to push back the human thrower, he does not succeed in hypnotizing the man either. The thrall was desperate and tried an almost impossible play when Count Tower looked grimly at him. "You'll be dinner tonight if you don't play and this time you won't wake up, ever again." he could hear telepathicly. So, gritting his teeth he dodged into the area the thrower held but something of Tower's gaze must've worked because the thrower didn't catch him and once again he got away clean. Fearing for his life and that he would never reach true vampirehood gave him ungodly powers and he passed a thrall, Terry, that were so far away from the opposing touchdown zone it seemed impossible. The ball flew true and Terry caught it, ran down the field and made the impossible last sprint... TOUCHDOWN!!! Somehow the Counts had managed to pull a win!

Thank you Santa for a very tense and fun game even though two thralls left the team because of your punishing blows.
