“Coach Everblight chose the Getafe Night Crows as opponent for the recovery match his dark elves needed.

While the "recovery" part of the deal was flawlessly executed (we got no casualties against and rhe winnings were enough to buy the lineman we needed), all the remaining assets of yhis game can be condensed in thwo short words: crappy luck.

Thing is, when you play 9 dark elves against 2 vampires and 13 thralls you need MORE luck than the opponent to fare well on the field. Alas, coach Curro's team got the better end of that deal (when a vampire team does 6 turns using only ONE reroll you gotta think something like that).

DISCLAIMER: obviously Curro's victory had to do also with he being a good coach. He did swarm me with his superior numbers securing a rather linear 2-0.

Poor old human thrall Jonny Turmac the Short paid the consequences of the repressed anger of the Dark Elves that, mad at being continuously obstructed, obliged him with a block right through the ribcage and then the lungs.

All in all a fairly fun match. Coach Everblight hereby offers his apologies to coach Curro for having been rather grumpy all the match long. I'll give you a rematch whenever you want .
