“I breathe a sigh of relief: Phew!

I was one down by half way through turn two. A riot then enabled me to finish the half level having also scored in two turns. A block pushed one of my players nearer the in-zone. Just enough. Got a pass to him, he caught it in a tackle zone and then dodged (without the skill) and went for it twice to score. Without that block and a ton of luck I’d not have scored.

Second half I managed a 5 turn drive which ended in a TD, but thought I’d scored a turn or two too early.

Then it was a scramble at the end. I managed to blitz the ball carrier and get enough bodies around the ball. Then with my last turn I kicked three elves off adjacent squares run in pick up the ball and pull off a huge pass to my lone lineman skulking in their half, TD.

Could so easily have been so different.

I really struggled to get elves prone and I think more of my players ended up lying down during the game! Tackle, block and dodge are a very good combination of skills, did not realize how good till now. I’ve injured more Norse in a game!

Thanks for the game, I learnt a lot and achieved a lot.
