“Despite starting with a 37% overall luck in the first two turns of the game, the Harvest did fight on with tenacity and resolution, wanting to offer at least a good fight.
The first half of the game was rather depressing until the very last turn in which a spectacular row of dodges by dark elf lineman Sardaukar Nightwing earned The team a much deserved TD.
Inspired by this feat, the darkies managed to score again in the first turns of the second half thanks to a flawless elfball play.
That was the end of it though. Due to a row of unfortunate blocks, unfortunate rebounds and one single very wrong move by coach Everblight the seemingly indestructable skinks (well... with the exception of little plafhh) kept swarming around doing their annoying 2-turn TDs.
So it ends with another bitter defeat. As a sign of Nuffle's complacency the only elf who skilled in this game also aged and got a niggle and was subsequently retired. Too bad it was our only blodge blitzer.
So here are the three lesson coach Everblight learned in this game.
- Coach Guiller is a VERY GOOD positioner
- Skinks, despite having low strength can be a pain in the ass for a skill-low team
- When a day starts bad, you have to take it as a man (or as whatever humanoid race you currently are)
And now on to the next home. We have much repressed anger to vent on somebody...
..and we will NOT give up!
