“Quite a game...

Started off down a player from It Wasn't Me. No problem, although that plus the 2 mngs put me at 9 players to start. I won the toss, received, started to setup the usual "plow down the side and 2 turn" got two players downfield before I 1rr1'd a dodge. Oh well, I kinda had the ball safe, at least with my players. He grabbed it though on his turn. No problem though, can't defend it. I go for the blitz, 1rr1 a dodge to get there. Fortunately, he failed something basic on his turn, couldn't get away. Dauntless to get to the ball... failed rr failed, got me a skull. I got tired of recording after that, but it continued for the rest of the half anyways. I managed one POW in the first half, which sounds bad until you consider I probably only threw 3-4 blocks. For what it's worth, Schalburg did a fine job of taking advantage of my failures :) 2nd half I scored a lucky td on a blitz (he couldn't knock over my rookie blitzer with 4db), and actually managed to pull off a reasonable 2 turn TD. Shocking. Game ended witha scare for Schalburg, as it looked like I might, kinda, possibly have a chance to tie it... but he played very defensively, and prevented me from even having a shot (which was smart, you never know what elves will do... especially evil elves)”
