The game started off well for the Non-Metals with a blitz ensuing with the opening kick-off. With necromantic players flooding into the back-field, Carbon pushed a zombie out of the way, closing in on the YoungBlood gumbi.
The Youngbloods caged the ball and their gumbi survived his first blow as Neon hit him in a kamikaze-style both-down block. As they ran the ball up looking like a certainty to score, Neon again blocked the Youngblood gumbi, taking him down, but unable to cause serious injury. Carbon stood up and fouled the prone gumbi, writhing before him, but again it somehow remained unscathed.
And then it was all over. The Undead's ghouls ran forward. Jahmin, while carrying the ball, charged my gumbi, killing him before running in for the TD on the same action...........
Well game over, and a comprehensive victory to theo and his "ironman" gumbi.
