“The game started very well for us.

We received the kickoff and knocked out a lot of dark elves while scoring on turn 8! We did pay a price, Steel Shielder, a guarding longbeard died and the apoth failed to save him.

Starting the second half on defense, our formation did better than last game but still the darkies scored on turn two after making a few important but easy rolls.

This is where my brain started to go mushy after being awake since 5am... I thought I only had four turns to score instead of 7 so I was rushing and I also used a bad formation for receiving the ball... especially as the Shadows blitzed me. But it was still salvagable since the kick was too deep for the Shadows to get it. Then I blew it again, throwing a block with my ogre and watching him land on his face... and I did that stupid block before picking up the ball...

CircularLogic coached a solid game and capitalized on my errors while making no significant errors of his own, so he totally earned the win.
